Greetings,
I, the incredibly humble author of "The Fall of Mahkinoc" and waiter extrordinaire, welcome you
to the wonderous homepage of Choaradar.com. Here you will find all manner of tasty treats for your consumption. But first
allow me to direct your attention to the appetizers being served on this main page.
You'll find the premise (the questions that occured to me while writing) to my amazing new book
directly below this paragraph. Resting delicately beside the image of my cover is the scrumptous material found on the back
of my book. The final portion at the bottom is a brief introduction to the three races of this fantastical world. If you find
this whets your appetite, then I suggest you try my home-made map. Or perhaps you feel like a nicely aged timeline. Everything
we have to offer is excellent. So, grab a spoon (not a fork, mind you) and dig in.
What would happen if eternity could be staved off just a bit longer? What if to do so a soul could animate
a specially designed robot? What would make someone want to stick around? Fear? Guilt? Obligations? Love? Personal reputation?
What if this possibility existed in a world where a single technologically advanced, and goal-oriented people did as they
pleased among a society on the cusp of industrial revolution? What if they lived in constant anxiety of loosing something
that might take away their advantage? What if that misplaced something has fallen into the hands of an adolescent boy, and
only a traitor knows about it? And, what if that traitor is one of those souls not yet ready to face eternity?

Cidraso, inventor and director of Galleo's water department, has no idea what he is about to unleash upon everyone he loves
when he pulls a small silver book from a search engine of the illustrious Galleo Library. The forbidden-and inhabited-technical
manual from The Tower of Gilead will lead to an ill-fated scheme and set his son and two friends on the dangerous road to
Gilead in the company of messengers, shadowed, and two rather unique individuals.
One, a respectable and rising engineer, is framed and driven to insanity by solitary confinement and a shadowed before
desperately turning to evil in hope that good will result. The other, a rogue hunter, deplores his past and has embarked
upon a relentless crusade to cleanse his stained conscience.
From the breathtaking imagination of Frank S. Wacholtz, this fantastical tale of guilt and innocence; a collision of technology,
nature, and a vibrant spiritual realm invites the reader into the world of Choaradar, where gunpowder is illegal technology,
the steam engine is yesterday's news, and armored machines shelter the souls of those too fearful or proud to face eternity.

"The first were the Tanthris. They were the adventurers, keen of senses, and beholders of all things beautiful and wonderful.
They were the children who reveled in the creation and rejoiced in all the wonders they beheld. These were the mapmakers,
the adventurers, the wanderers.
Second in this world were His prophets, the Insidis. Through them the Glorious One revealed truths and wisdom.
Understanding was their gift. They were wise and had communion with the messengers. These were the seers of hearts, walkers
of dreams, and beholders of the messengers.
Finally, men were created. Beholders of both realms yet chained to the one. They were seekers of both wisdom and beauty,
enjoying both. To them the gift of rule was given. From these came the priest-kings, the balance, the rulers."
(The Annals, Beginnings 1:7-10)
